Products Description
Pallet Rack Upright Protector shields the lower section of a rack column from direct contact with forklifts, pallet trucks and pallets. This area is particularly exposed during turning, loading and retrieval operations.
Unistar offers V-shaped, U-shaped and round-pipe protectors in several heights. The correct protector must fit the upright and baseplate without obstructing the lowest beam or normal pallet handling.

Selection Guidance of Pallet Rack Upright Protector
V-shaped guards provide a compact front-impact surface.
U-shaped guards protect the front and both sides of the upright.
Round-pipe guards provide a wider deflecting structure.
Taller protectors cover more of the lower upright section.
Protector width must clear the upright and baseplate.
The lowest beam height must be checked before selecting the protector.
Anchor positions must not conflict with rack anchors.
Installation and Use of Pallet Rack Upright Protector
Install at exposed uprights along forklift aisles.
Maintain clearance between the protector and rack column.
Use high-visibility colors in active handling areas.
Inspect floor anchors during routine warehouse checks.
Replace protectors that are significantly deformed after impact.
Inspect the rack upright after any recorded collision.
Do not use the protector to conceal existing upright damage.
