Products Description
End of Aisle Rack Protector is a floor-mounted barrier positioned in front of exposed pallet rack end frames. It protects a wider area than an individual upright guard and is particularly suitable for rack ends located beside cross aisles or forklift turning points.
Unistar’s frame barrier uses a round-tube structure with floor-mounted baseplates and a yellow-and-black high-visibility finish.
Suitable Installation Positions
Ends of pallet rack rows
Cross-aisle intersections
Forklift turning areas
Entrance points to rack aisles
Exposed sides of rack frames
Areas beside loading or staging zones
Locations with frequent pallet-truck traffic
Frame Barrier vs Upright Protector
| Item | Protected Area | Typical Position |
|---|---|---|
| Upright protector | One individual rack column | Along an operating aisle |
| Frame barrier | A wider section of the rack end | End of row or turning area |
| Low floor barrier | Lower vehicle-impact zone | Beside frames or equipment |
| Extended barrier | Full frame-depth protection | High-traffic cross aisles |
Project Configuration
Barrier length should cover the exposed rack-frame depth.
Barrier height should match the expected impact area.
Clearance should prevent the barrier from transferring normal contact to the rack.
Floor anchors must suit the slab condition.
The barrier position must not reduce the required operating aisle excessively.
Rounded corners can help reduce snagging in turning areas.
High-visibility markings improve identification by forklift operators.
