Push Back Pallet Racking System is a high-density storage solution that stores multiple pallets in depth on inclined rails, carts or load-supporting tracks. Pallets are loaded and retrieved from the same aisle, while the forklift remains outside the rack structure.
The system operates on a Last-In, First-Out basis and is suited to facilities holding several pallets of each SKU. Unistar designs the lane depth, carts, rails and rack structure according to pallet size, weight, warehouse height and inventory profile.
How the Push Back Pallet Racking System Works
The first pallet is placed on the front cart or innermost available position.
Each additional pallet pushes the previously loaded pallets farther into the lane.
When the front pallet is removed, the remaining pallets move toward the picking face by gravity.
Loading and unloading are completed from one operating aisle.
The forklift does not enter the storage lane.

Configuration Options of Push Back Pallet Racking System
Lane depth is selected according to pallets per SKU and turnover rate.
Cart-based or rail-based configurations are determined by the system design.
Pallet dimensions and bottom structure must be consistent within each lane.
Rack height is limited by warehouse clearance and forklift lift height.
Frame and beam sections are calculated from lane load and bay load.
Blue frames and orange beams are available as standard color options.
Upright protectors, pallet stops and other safety accessories can be included.
